The Filming Process

You may never had considered a film of your wedding day, and you may have questions as this may be the only time you employ a film maker.  So here is an idea of what the process looks like.

Your Wedding Film Process

  • Initial Enquiry

When you fill in my enquiry form, all your details are automatically added to my studio system.  A profile is created for you and this is where all our documents are kept such as contracts - you can view this at anytime.

  • Getting to know you

Once I have your enquiry first up I'll check that I'm free on your date.  All being well and you want to go ahead, I'll send you a short form to fill out - this will give me a good idea of what your film may look like.

  • Let's Talk

Closer to your big day we will arrange a meeting (virtual or in person) to discuss what you want your film to cover including those special touches you want captured.  We'll also discuss a theme and any particular music ideas.

  • The Big Day

This is your day, so I try to keep my interactions to a minimum but I might get you to have a walk holding hands, or pose in a particular we - don't worry though, I'll not keep you from the party for too long!!!

The Premiere

Here's the fun bit!  Around 4-6 weeks after your big day I'll send you a low res version of your film (if you want) where you can ask for any additions or changes.

Once you're happy I'll send you a download link for your film, plus a presentation USB (if you requested one).

I will keep a copy of your film for one year. If however you would like all the raw footage, just supply a suitable hard drive and its yours.
